Good. - Quarto [11 inches high by 8-1/2 inches wide], navy blue cloth with a printed paper label on the spine. The binding is rubbed & bumped with a few small stains. The spine is darkened with the head & tail lightly chipped. The label is rubbed, darkened & chipped and is barely legible. 292 pages plus ads. Profusely illustrated with color plates tipped onto gray stock, black-and-white and color plates and illustrations, pictorial ads and music staves. A gift inscription and the recipient's signature are penned on the front endpaper. There is scattered light foxing and staining. The book is partially cracked at page 198. Good.
